I think that the contacts are the biggest part of the Twilight costumes. The eye color is such a distinguishing trait of Stephenie Meyer’s vampires–almost more than anything else.

Ahh yes, i am also being yelled at about the prices, annnd i don’thave contacts yet so i don’t have a perscription to order the contacts , so can’t order them because it’s required to order them…=[
For everyone wanting contacts, if you aren’t shown how to put them in, it might take you a while to figure it out yourself. Took me about 2 hours. Also, I highly recommend getting a small bottle of eye drops to take with you when you are out and putting a drop or two in your eyes every couple of hours, to stop the contacts drying and irritating your eyeballs.
If they are expensive online or you need a prescription, try finding one of those small stores that sells pipes “for tobacco use only”, t-shirts and jewellery. I got some pairs a few years back from one of those places for a lot less than I could have paid at at optometrist. And I didn’t need a script for my eyes either, as they were “cosmetic” lenses.
My mom never liked me dressing up either.
But how can you be a Cullen if you don’t have golden eyes? ;P

If you have hazel eyes, it easy with the right makeup to make them ‘look’ topaz in the light, if geting contacts is out of the question.
I’m just saying, im still hopeing to get a pair to make my cullen cosplay stand out.

You’re lucky. I live in the UK, and there is NO twilight mercjandise at all. There are a number of websites which sell contacts, just have a look around.
By the way, if you are planning to wear your contacts for longer than a couple of hours, get a doctor’s or optomerist’s advice on what to buy.
I’m only 12 but I AM IN LOVE WITH EDWARD CULLEN!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS SO HOT!!!!!!! I see his picture and I’m like “mmmmmmmmmmm….. Edward Cullen….. haaaaaaaa….” then my friends wake me up and I start crying coz he’s not real. (sob) Once I had a dream that I was 17 and we were dancing at prom and he changed me into a vampire then when the pain was over, he pulled me into his arms at once and kissed me. When I woke up I started crying for like, 2 hours… Is that weird? I thought so.. but I still love him so much that I could just SING from the rooftops. But that would be weird. But I don’t CARE!!!! P.S: I want those contacts so bad and I am gonna wear them to school and see what my friends say. lol. they would be SO jealous!! for those of you talking about prices being too high. Try to see if you can find them locally. There is a discount shop were I live that I get my colored contacts from for only $20 a pair (FreshLook Color Blends in Honey).
On my normally green eyes they may not be “fresh from hunting” topaz, but you can always say that it has been a few days (plus you get to play up the eyeshadow a bit more when they are darker… deeper bruises under the eyes and such). That’s just my opinion though.

For those of you that don’t know, and it’s apparent from the obvious ages of the people that HAVE posted, buying contacts just from any old place can have serious consequences. Don’t do it!! If you want cheap contacts, go to some place like America’s Best Contacts and Glasses and you can get a free eye exam and purchase color contacts for as low as $35.00 a box. I just got some Autumn and Sunrise contacts from there this morning and they are a bright topaz color. Geez. Go to an eye doctor and do it right, don’t risk ruining your eyes.

you can get free samples from your optomatrist. dont risk damaging your eyes.
If you don’t need prescription contacts you can get color contacts from a local flea market or ‘dirt mall’ for 15-15 dollars. I’ve never seen anyone have an issue with them and you can’t beat the price.
Yeah wildeyes is a good place to get stuff like that search up “vampire” on that website and it give u to options red or gold there’s also “venom” that looked really cool also look up “flames” p.s.
